The short answer. The Hendon home is a two-bedroom flat with two beds in each bedroom and sofa beds in the living room, so it sleeps six but gives four people a bedroom. It suits a small team working north-west of London, with Hendon Central about fifteen minutes on foot and the A406 and M1 both within reach.

Hendon, Colindale and north London are not the same place

Hendon Police College, the Peel Centre, is nearby in Colindale NW9, roughly two miles from the flat. It is the Metropolitan Police's principal training centre, but it is not in Hendon. We are spelling that out because a two-mile location error changes the journey someone is actually planning.

Middlesex University has consolidated its teaching and research at the Hendon campus on The Burroughs. Royal Free London covers Barnet Hospital, Chase Farm, North Middlesex University Hospital and the Royal Free across a large north London footprint.

Brent Cross West station opened in December 2023 on the Thameslink Midland Main Line. Published journeys to London St Pancras are around twelve minutes, with up to eight trains an hour at peak. Hendon Central on the Northern line is about a fifteen-minute walk from the flat; that is the walk to the station, not a promise about the whole journey.

For a vehicle, the useful fact is the road network: the A406 North Circular and Junction 2 of the M1 are both easily reached. Check the actual site postcode before you book — north-west London is still a large area.
